Success!!!

My dear cousin, Shelly and I have entered the hallowed winners circle of NaNoWriMo 2006!!!
My story is called She Learned To Smile and I achieved the 50,000 word goal, exceeded it even, by 51 words. It's a rough draft, but it's there, and I am so proud of myself for sticking to it and accomplishing something so big.
I didn't have faith in myself, honestly, I am rather ADD and never thought I would be able to stick to it, but Shelly was with me most of the month and she helped me through it.
I intend to do it next year and all the years I can from now on. I want to be a writer and a photographer and this is an amazing step for me in the writing avenue my career.
I hope that doing this will help me to know that I can do big things even when I don't think I can and maybe that will help me to be more diligent in the future.
